I was going to say the Savior, but, my husband was second and he actually is what I believe the Savior would be like. He is kind, forgiving, encouraging. I am so blessed to have a great example of true love and faith...

Ok...fine. I'm not posting every day. But, here I am now. Why am I doing this? Who is it for? Me? You? Family? Friends? Whatever? It is like a journal. I need to do it and maybe someone will read it and learn something they need in their life. Maybe give a laugh and a smile! Why? Because I said so! That's why! Oh, wait..this is about the moments.

Recent moment...hummmm.

We made a Thankful/Gratitude tree for Family Home Evening last week. Anyone who comes to our house gets to write on a leaf something they are grateful for, and we stick it on the tree. We have done this in past years but, it has not turned out well. This year has been wonderful and our tree is already full of thanks and love!

Several friends are posting thankful/gratitude on facebook everyday and I am beginning that challenge today. I want to start here.

I am thankful to have so many friends and family who love and support me. You have been there throughout my life.

I am thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the reason I live every day, every moment. The reason I have all the reasons and the mommastock moments!

Wow...sometimes the moments catch you by surprise. I love you all!

Daddy's and Owls

This conversation occured on the way to Church while Daddy was gone training last month...

Jessie: "I miss daddy...wish he could come to church."
Mom: "Blow him kisses...he is still awake.. He's working the night shift right now."
Becca: "Is he guarding equipment?'
Mom: 'No, people need training at night too."
Jonny: "Just like owls" (this was a delayed response to daddy is awake at night)
Jessie: "Owls don't need to be trained!"


I had trouble typing this because I am still laughing at this one!

Do I have to...

A friend said November is blog-a-day month...
Since I started this blog about 6 months ago and wrote 1 entry. Maybe it's time to write something. I follow very few blogs. But, 2 of them mention the NaNoWriMo. Maybe someday that will be something to do...who knows.
Haven't decided why I writing this. I am pretty contemplative today. I trimmed the bushes and felt like Edward Scissorhands. Then I sat on our bench for about 15 minutes and realized I wasn't thinking about anything. That doesn't happen very often. It was wierd and nice. It is a beautiful Fall day...so glad I had a moment to hear it.

Not Alone

Ok...so I need to blog...whatever.
I have gone through tough times. Everyone has their own. I need to share some thoughts that I hope will help others and some family fun times too!!
I just need to say there are times that you have to go through things ON YOUR OWN but you are NOT ALONE! That is why I need to write this. You need to know there is someone out there who loves you and really cares what happens to you. They are thinking about you, praying for you...even if they never tell you, talk to you or even forget to call! Family, friends...and especially for me...Jesus Christ. You may believe in something different but...you are not alone! That is what matters! If I sent you this blog link thing it is because you were a part of my life at one time...you made a difference to me...you helped me become who I am...THANK YOU!
